So this is what 2007 looks like... Happy New Year.

The world is a small place and Singapore is a small country with a big heart. Our first engagement of 07 was at the mighty Harvest Church where we played two sessions over two days. This was the first part of singapore trilogy for this year and we are already looking forward to the sequel and the sequel to the sequel.

Our roll this weekend was to bring thirty thousand new Singaporean's into the presence of God... Put like that it sends chills down my spine, do I really believe this is possible? What does the presence of God really look like? How do we lead people in true worship? There has got to more to worship than songs.. I guess after 12 years of doing this I really should have some concrete answers but it is still all a mystery to me. All I know is that I want to be more like Jesus and that I love to play music, anything beyond that is beyond me.

That said, I felt the presence of God this weekend. I saw it in the five inch screen of the singapre airline television, I felt it through the sincere love from our gracious hosts, I saw it in the city as I looked out of our 20th floor hotel room upon the sprawling metropolis. I tasted it in the fresh peppered crab, I saw it in the smiling eyes of a stranger, I experienced it in the generosity I was shown, I heard it in the music...

What did my spiritual carbon foot print look like today? Did I consume more than I produced?
