We know, all right? We're sorry. Forgiven? Good.

Now that's done with let's move on and put the massive delay in this Cyber Smalltalk behind us. Down here on the D: farm things have been typically fine and fertile. In fact the Delirious feeding trough has been getting nicely full with a slightly more exotic blend of feed: with new runways lined up it's all looking good for the next few months.

New Baby

Martin and Anna now move clearly into the lead with their fifth Smith Jnr now in the world. Born on Saturday 23rd April and named Ruby-Anna Peacefull, the wee one is more than welcome. Well done.

Charidee Single

Shove 250 Christian musicians in a studio and what do you get? Nothing predictable, that's for sure. On February 19 th a whole bunch of them - including Martin who sang and Stu G who played guitar - made their way to Abbey Road and did the business with 'One Voice, One Heart'. The single raises money to help the residents of the fishing village of Thantri on India's east coast. Working alongside Jubilee Action the single's proceeds will rebuild homes and replace fishing boats and nets. Each new home costs just £1500 while the boats cost £500. Hot Seat

He's new, he's a tech and he's called Dave. Welcome to the world of Dave The Tech.

Q. Why are you here?
A. Because I'm not there.

Q. Where do you come from?
A. Now there's a question.   I was born in Portsmouth, but have grew up in Jersey (Original Jersey that is, none of that New Jersey stuff)   I moved back to the UK in 2000, and now try to only live in places that begin with the letter 'B'.   So Bolton, Birmingham, Bristol and now Brockley.

Q. Where are you going?
A. Up up up!

Q. What are you doing in the next week?
A. Planning my wedding mainly!   Oh yeah, and doing my D:Tech duties, of course.

Q. What was the first Delirious cd you bought?
A. Not sure I ever have.   My sister did all the buying. I think the first one I had access to was King of Fools

Q. Spending time on tour can cause some crew to have personal hygiene issues. How do you intend approaching the problem?
A. I don't.

Q. Do you plan on using your position as Dave The Tech to launch a solo career?
A. If I told you, I would have to kill you.   All I can say is that Martin had better tread carefully!

Q. Damo was foreign and Chris had the hair. Before that there was Rusty who played bass for Roger Whittaker. What's your gimmick going to be?
A. Probably my insane good looks, incredible talent and general brilliantness.

Q. Is damosworld going to be inhabited by Dave?
A. No, Damosworld is and was purely that, Damo's world.   I will be inhabiting a new place, namely Techsville.   It is currently under construction, but will be open for business soon.

Q. Finally, give us three words that don't describe you.
A. Roof, coin, table.

Summer of Stages

Delirious are getting ready for one of the finest summers yet. It all kicks off with a May trip to Morocco, a June trip to Edinburgh for Frenzy and later appearances at Soul Survivor and Grapevine. Excited? Of course they are.

Majesty

We all knew that the song was good one, but the Christian Booksellers Association has just confirmed it, making it their song of the year for 2004.

Oh Yes. There's a new album on the way.
