The special edition access:d packaging has just rolled off the press and back into the design department for the final viewing. There is much excitement as the more athletic younger brother of "live and in the can" gets past from hand to hand. The design boys have been working overtime to make this a CD that your collection can visually not live without and as for the audio....

Martin walked into the Furious? HQ this morning with a smile on his face an two CDR's in his hand. He has spent the last two days in the company of mastering genius Chris Blair, in the recording Mecca of Abbey Road Studios.

The entire office huddled around the hi-fi for the debut blasting of the 20 song, 2 disc, 120 minute record. Its always quite a strange experience listening to yourself on CD but it's even weirder having a live gig in your office. There is so much energy flowing through the hi-fi speakers that it almost felt wrong to listen to it sitting down...I looked around expecting to see crowd barriers, security guards and thousands of you guys, but instead sitting on the sofa next to me was a graphic designer, opposite an accountant and sitting on the floor in front of the speakers a Martin Smith with a big grin.
